Abstract

A pedoscope allows the feet and body to be examined during walking movement or statically. The examinations may be medical, industrial or artistic. A longitudinal case made of wood or other material such as plastic or metal or even a combination of materials has a glass plate which supports the person being examined. A mirror reflects the image of the foot print during walking and is mounted in the base of the case. The mirror may be inclined manually or automatically at any required angle. A neon tube provides illumination and an intensity control enables the intensity to be set to suit the examination.
