Abstract

Ce dispositif, qui est tout particulièrement destiné aux postes, de revêtement des extrémités de tuyau en fonte, à raccordement par emboîtement réciproque, comporte au moins un four cylindrique 6 ou 7 ouvert à l'une de ses extrémités, sur le fond circulaire fermé duquel est fixé un faisceau cylindrique d'éléments chauffants émettant un rayonnement infrarouge. L'enveloppe isolante cylindrique du four délimite autour du faisceau chauffant un espace annulaire de réception de l'extrémité de l'objet tubulaire à chauffer. Cet objet est porté par un chariot 3 mobile sur des rails 4 et muni de galets d'entraînement de l'objet en rotation autour de son axe propre.
