Abstract

Liq. dielectrics of formula (I) are new: (where n, x, y and z are 1 or 2). (I) and their mixts. are suitable for use in transformers and capacitors. They are non-flammable, chemically stable and have a high dielectric constant and low loss factor over a wide temp. range. They have better low-temp. dielectric properties and better biodegradability than chlorinated biphenyls.
