Abstract

L'invention concerne l'établissement des profils sismiques verticaux. On établit des formes d'ondes A, B par détection de signaux acoustiques pseudo-périodiques émis à partir d'une source à des niveaux de profondeur différents dans un puits de forage. On répartit ces niveaux de profondeur suivant une loi de réparti tion déterminée en fonction de la vitesse de propagation des ondes acoustiques au voisinage de ces niveaux de profondeur. On combine ensemble des formes d'ondes établies pour des niveaux successifs de détection suivant une loi de combinaison déterminée, liée à ladite loi de répartition. Une loi de combi naison consistant à soustraire deux formes d'onde combinée E mettant en évidence les ondes renvoyées par des formations terrestres réfléchissantes.
