Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un coussin dans lequel une âme composée de ressorts métalliques, enroulés, juxtaposés, est entourée par une enveloppe en mousse. Suivant l'invention, cette enveloppe en mousse 2 a la forme d'un caisson et la cavité de ce caisson est garnie de ressorts 8 dont les spires centrales 13 ont un diamètre inférieur à celui des spires supérieures 9 et des spires inférieures 10. Les spires supérieures et inférieures des ressorts 8 adjacents d'une même rangée se croisent et sont réunies entre elles par des articulations 20. Les canaux ménagés entre les zones centrales étranglées 13 des ressorts 8 adjacents, logent des bandes de matière, notamment des bandes de mousse 14.
