Abstract
The welding ring consists of a container has connections for the ends of the pipe to be welded. The top of the container can accept a diving bell guided by cables. The bell is guided by the cables to the side connection. The two modules can be locked into position on the container. The modules contain the necessary equipment for welding and the welding operators.
