Abstract

The removable vehicle headlamp fixing has a spring loaded muff (8) squeezing the headlamp bearing plate (1) to the top shoulders of the socket (10). The muff is attached to a vehicle body part (9) by a screw (13) pulling againt a tapped circular head (14a) and a circlip (15) housed in a circular groove in the muff. The muff is pushed down to allow the bearing plate (1) to enter under the shoulder of the socket and the spring holds it in position while a bolting lock secures the muff and socket to each other.
