Abstract

a. Installation pour l'épuration biologique d'eaux résiduaires, comportant des surfaces collectrices, de préférence en matière plastique, en forme de surfaces de révolution rotatives, tenant lieu de lits bactériens plongeants, plongées dans l'eau résiduaire et entraînées en rotation. b. Installation caractérisée en ce que, en vue de l'élimination de carbone organique, de l'oxydation d'ammoniac pour le transformer en nitrate et de la dénitrification du nitrate pour le transformer en azote à l'état gazeux, il est prévu une cuve étanche aux gaz, dans laquelle plonge au moins un cylindre à lit bactérien, pourvu de plusieurs plateaux à lit bactérien disposés côte à côte, peut être entraîné et avoir son support placé de préférence au-dessus du niveau maximum de l'eau, qui peut être réglé à différentes hauteurs. c. Installation applicable à l'épuration bactérienne d'eaux usées.
