Abstract

Fraise annulaire destinée à travailler en bout. Dans la rive périphérique de la face en dépouille de cette fraise sont creusés les logements équidistants et en forme d'encoignures de lames rapportées en forme de prismoïdes obliques dont la grande base, qui fait saillie obliquement par rapport à 1a face de coupe, intersecte deux des faces latérales en retrait en formant un angle obtus d'acuité dont le sommet constitue la pointe d'attaque de la lame et les deux côtés constituent deux arêtes tranchantes, l'une orientée obliquement vers l'extérieur, l'arrière et la face de coupe, l'autre dirigée du côté de l'axe et dans le plan de rotation de la fraise, mais vers l'arrière. Application aux techniques de fraisage en bout.
