Abstract

An antenna system is specified for radio supply of railway and road tunnels, mining sites and the like, in the case of which system two conductive wires (D1, D2) are held parallel by supports (ST1, ST2), these wires being prestressed and the supports consisting of a fire-resistant insulating material. This antenna, which is fitted in the tunnel longitudinal direction, is cost-effective and remains functionally reliable even in the event of fire breaking out.
