Abstract

The anti-theft display stand enables the buyer to touch the articles for sale, while protecting them at the same time. It consists of a cage rotating on a vertical axle (1) and comprising fixed horizontal bars (3) preventing the article (2) from being removed. The horizontal bars are positioned on the same radial plane so as to form a line of openings normally blocked by a vertical locking bar (5). When the price of the article is inserted into a slot (7) in an automatic cash register, one object (6) selected by the buyer emerges from the unblocked hole (4). The articles for sale can be of various shapes, prices and materials, and are separated by a system of jaws.
