Abstract

A shallow cylindrical anchor block (4) slides into the top of the post, having blind bores (5) in its top horizontal surface, and being retained by an axial screw (12) and captive nut (14). A selected bore locates a vertical downward return (7) of a hooked arm (8), the arm passing through a bore (6) in the post wall, and the hook formation locating externally. bores may be provided in pairs on perpendicular radii, allowing up to four hooks (8) to be used, and providing for a demountable (e1) or captive (e2) attachment of a rope end eyelet.
