Abstract
Electrical connector accepting single wire conductors and esp. suitable for high vibration level environments. The connector provides two points of contact for each inserted wire. The connector body (1) has three cut-out sections (11, 21, 13) for each wire connection position. Individual wires are inserted through side holes (9) in the body and then through matching holes in a 'U' shaped metal insert (25). A button (5) operated strip (3) working against a spring (7) moves within the inserts and traps the wire against it in the relaxed position, the wire also passing through the strip.
