Abstract

The device is for the self-alignment of a component which is rotating and in contact with a surface, Always maintaining during rotation a contact line with one belonging to the surface. The rotating part is fitted on a bearing unit with two articulated connections which receive the contact forces. The unit comprises a housing (5b) containing two bearings, whilst the rotating part is a motor pinion (1b) fitted on a shaft rotatably located in the two bearings. The motor pinion (1b) is in permanent engagement with a gearwheel (10). The articulated connections are on one side of the pinion, and their geometrical axis lies in a plane cutting the effective line of the outer forces on the bearing unit.
