Abstract

The number of cups of equal or unequal volume are used to process samples for centrifuging. The cups are filled by creating a vacuum condition and them atmospheric pressure is re-established. A number of sample cups are filled automatically by action of a vacuum and they are then placed in different compartments of centrifuge transfer disc. This open ends point towards the periphery. The cups are emptied of their contents by centrifuging or by destruction of their walls.
