Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil chauffant permettant le réglage du chauffage d'un liquide contenu dans un récipient placé sur ledit appareil, cet appareil consistant essentiellement en une plaque chauffante en matière synthétique dans laquelle est enrobé un réseau de résistors 16 disposé de façon à chauffer les deux extrémités 18 de la plaque et à ménager une zone non chauffée 19 au centre de la plaque, les parties chauffées étant commandées par un premier thermostat 22 et la partie non chauffée par un second thermostat 24, les deux thermostats étant calibrés de façon à interrompre sélectivement l'arrivée de courant à l'interface séparant la plaque du récipient et dans les parties extrêmes de la plaque afin d'obtenir un chauffage optimal du récipient et de son contenu.
