Abstract

One of the two parts of the connector consists of a prismatic body (1) having several cavities (2) each enclosing a contact element (3). Each contact element is fixed to a central part (4) of a U-shaped piece whose branches (5) are used to fix the assembly (3-5) in a corresponding slot. The central part (4) has a pin (6) onto which the electrical conductor is attached. At least one of the branches has several regularly spaced teeth (7) forming a slot (8) into which fit projections (9) on the wall of the housing (2). each cavity too has a hole (10) which communicates with the exterior. The hole is blocked by a tooth (7) of the connector.
