Abstract

The compsn. comprises 25-35% of >=1 alumino-silicate; about 5% of >=1 ester of a fatty acid and saccharose; 60-70% of pref. deionised water and an effective amt. of a preservative. The compsn. is prepd. by mixing with other apt. additives until a homogeneous paste is obtd. Unlike most shampoos the compsn. does not proke seborrhea as a result of the intensive detergent activity. It is non-irritating and the ester agent has remarkable detergent and solubility properties and also has anti-dirt redeposition properties.
