Abstract

L'invention concerne un casque pare-balles. Ce casque comporte, entre une coquille extérieure et une coquille intérieure galbées selon la forme de la tête, réalisées en un matériau compact et léger ne produisant pas d'éclat, et reliées tout le long de leur bord périphérique par un joint de bordure souple et continu, plusieurs couches ou plis de tissus en fibre de << Kevlar >> et une couche de mousse élastique, chaque pli étant constitué de plusieurs morceaux de tissu disposés chacun avec un léger recouvrement sur les morceaux voisins. Les morceaux de tissus sont découpés dans le sens du biais de la pièce de tissu, de façon à pouvoir être déformés pour s'appliquer exactement et sans se plisser, sur la surface convexe de la coquille intérieure.
