Abstract

Real time ultrasonic system uses electronic scanning to produce picture information of the internal structure of the body under examination. The transducer head contains rows of transducer elements to produce images of the body in the pulse transmit and receive equipment which displays a picture on the monitor and focussing control equipment. The signal transmitting circuit between the latter and the receiving circuit produces an adjustable time delay. A dynamic focussing circuit controls the amount of delay. (Abstract reloaded 9432).
