Abstract

Metal sections (10, 11) with elongated holes (14) equally spaced along their length are used to form ducts for supporting electric cables. Two such sections are joined together with a special strip (15) and bolts (20). One half of the strip has three equally spaced holes spaced at the same distance as the elongated holes (14). The other half of the strip has three tongues (17) formed by partially cutting the metal and bending the tongues outwards. These tongues are fitted into the elongated holes in the section (10) and then slid longitudinally so that the tongues grip the edges of the holes.
