Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie organique. Elle a pour objet un procédé de production de la 2,3,5-trichloropyridine, suivant lequel en fait réagir la 3,5-dichloro-pyridine avec du chlore en phase vapeur à une température élevée. La quantité de chlore est, de préférence, d'au moins 1 mole, plus avantageusement d'au moins 2 moles et le plus favorablement de 5 à 15 moles par mole de 3,5-dichloropyridine. La température de réaction est avantageusement de 300 à 460 degrés C et de préférence de 340 à 400 degrés C. La réaction peut être exécutée en présence d'un diluant qui est, de préférence, le tétrachlorure de carbone. La 2,3,5-trichloropyridine obtenue est préférée pour la préparation d'herbicides.The invention relates to the organic industry. The amount of chlorine is preferably at least 1 mole, more preferably at least 2 moles, and most favorably 5 to 15 moles per mole of 3,5-dichloropyridine. The reaction temperature is preferably 300 to 460 degrees C and more preferably 340 to 400 degrees C. The reaction can be carried out in the presence of a diluent which is preferably carbon tetrachloride. The 2,3,5-trichloropyridine obtained is preferred for the preparation of herbicides.
