Abstract

Pour préparer des éther-sulfonates de formule : R-O-(R3 )-SO3 A où R représente un radical alkyle, alcényle, hydroxyalkyle, hydroxyalcényle, alkaryle, aralkyle ou un de leurs dérivés de type polyéther, R3 représente un radical alkylène et A représente un cation de metal alcalin, on fait réagir un alcool ROH avec un sel d'acide alkylsulfonique hydroxylé HO-R3 -SO3 A ajouté sous forme solide, avec une petite quantité d'éther-sulfonate correspondant au produit présent au début de la période de réaction pour accroître la vitesse de la réaction, améliorer la sélectivité de la réaction et faciliter la séparation du produit.
