Il est caractérisé en ce que les gorges 3 réalisant le piétement ne s'étendent pas axialement sur la largeur du plateau 2, mais sont interrompues pour ne réaliser que des successions de pieds 4, 5, 6 entre lesquels sont réservées des portions 8, 9 de plancher supérieur 2. Application à l'industrie de la manutention et du stockage.
