Abstract

The cable connector is for a battery terminal, esp, a car battery. The connector is in two parts, a 'U' shaped part (1) having a hole in each side of the 'U' corresponding to the size of the battery terminal pillar one being slightly larger than the other. The second part (7) is metal strip bent into a circle and having a folded triangular extension (8) which is fitted within the holes of the first part. The cable (11) is trapped by the two parts at the base of the 'U' (3) as the second part is rotated, also excerting pressure on the pillar.
