Abstract

At the point of intersection of two synchronous luminous sources a phenomenan known as a 'luminous interference' spot is produced. The selective existance of spots at chosen modes of a fine quid of optical channels (in which circulates interference radiations) gives rise to the image that is to be displayed. The choice of nodes is made possible by means of a double sweep of abscissae and ordinates (X-Y) on the channel inputs. The channel inputs have electro optic shutters which make the access selective. These shutters have the characteristic of being able to control the optical motion of radiations penetrating inside the channels so as to optimise the quality of brilliance of the spot (or maximum interference intensity). The control is achieved by brilliance control data detected by a photoreceiver.
