Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé et un appareillage permettant la séparation d'un élément dans un mélange atomique ou moléculaire. Selon l'invention, on utilise les quantités de mouvements de rebond isotropes résultant d'une excitation et d'une ionisation sélectives d'un faisceau atomique ou d'une excitation photonique sélective et d'une réaction de fixation d'électrons avec dissociation d'un faisceau moléculaire, pour séparer de façon mécanique un isotope désiré. Application à l'enrichissement de l'uranium-235.
