Abstract

The distribution point is fitted to a surgical operating table and brings all required services up to table level (2). It comprises an input unit (8) on the column base (1), the relevant gas, fluid and electrical supplies being fed upwards through harnesses (7). These terminate in a block (6) mounted at table level, on a bracket (5) which slides along a rail (4) fitted to the side of the operating table, the bracket can be locked after positional adjustment. A sterile cover plate (13), with appropriate cutouts (14), protects access to the take-off connections (10, 11, 12).
