Abstract

Le frein 1 pour moteur électrique 2 comprend un organe rotatif de freinage 3 monté en rotation dans un carter 4 et au moins un organe de freinage fixe 5 comportant une surface de friction 6 destinée à prendre appui sur l'organe rotatif de freinage. L'organe rotatif de freinage 3 est monté sur un arbre secondaire 12 comprenant des moyens pour le rendre solidaire en rotation de l'une des extrémités de l'arbre 13 du moteur électrique 2, après enlèvement du flasque 14 de ce moteur adjacent à ladite extrémité de l'arbre. Le carter 4 comprend des moyens pour le fixer au moteur 2 à l'emplacement initial du flasque précité et à l'aide des organes de fixation 22 normalement prévus pour ce dernier. Application notamment aux freins électromagnétiques pour moteurs électriques.
