Abstract

Pulverising dynamic dyring process for destabilised latex comprises (a) mixing the destabilised latex with an anti-tackifying agent (I); (b) simultaneously agitating and grinding the mixt.; (c) drying the particles by heating without interrupting step (b); and pref. also (d) sieving the prod. obtd. after step (c). Pref. part of the serum contained in the latex is mechanically extracted before mixing the latter with (I). Drying is accelerated due to agitation of the mixt., to the fine particle size of the destabilised latex and to the high temp. made possible by presence of (I). The prod. is obtd. as fine powder, which allows greater flexibility of use.
