Abstract

The articulated structure supports one or more oblong flexible components such as an electric cable between two relatively movable parts. It comprises a series of links (11, 11a) pivoting together in a lazy}-tongs pattern, the cable running along one set of links in an undulating path. The ends of the lazy-tongs assembly are secured to the parts movable in relation to each other (2, 3), mentioned above. The links can be tubes, with the cable etc. running inside them, while the pivot points are double hinged sleeves, in which the tubes a*e secured.
