Abstract

Procédé pour préparer des fibres synthétiques minérales, utilisables pour le renforcement de produits du ciment. Il consiste à réduire la longueur des fibres de laine minérale par broyage par choc, par exemple dans un broyeur à percussion, à purifier par voie humide la substance fibreuse ainsi formée, par dispersion dans un milieu aqueux, et à récupérer les fibres ainsi purifiées. Les produits ainsi obtenus confèrent aux produits en ciment qu'ils renforcent un module de rupture nettement plus élevé.
