Abstract
The constant velocity transmission joint(1) is enclosed in a flexible bellows(11) in order to retain the lubricating grease and exclude dirt and moisture. A breather hole (20) is provided near the point where the bellows is fixed to the shaft(2). The hole(20) communicates with an annulus(21) which is turn communicates with the interior of the bellows through a small slot(22) in the internal surface of the collar(19).
