Abstract

The coffee maker produces clear, strong coffee which is filtered under pressure after a minimum amount of grinding. A heater in the top of the container heats the water before passing through the layer of ground coffee. The heater consists of an ordinary annular resistor. A small metal container has grooves down the sides and incorporates a manual or automatic valve for filling. The temperature of the water is varied by the number of grooves in the side.
