Abstract
The screen is of the reflecting type designed for observation of an image projected on it. The screen has a diffusion layer formed from a material having a refraction power distribution. This distribution is not the same in two orthogonal directions. The layer can reflect incident light with a reflected light distribution which is not the same in the two orthogonal directions. A Fresnel lens structure includes a certain number of concentric annular band surfaces (11). These surfaces are inclined towards a common (O) centre and have a roughened surface.
