Abstract

A binder for a brochure or pamphlet is made from a strip (9) of material with a transverse curvature. A transverse rib (2) of trapezoidal cross-section is formed near each end of the strip (1). A block (3) with a matching dovetail groove (4) is pushed over each rib (2) and carries a number of longitudinal blades (5). The folded pages of the brochure are fitted over these blades before the two blocks (3) are fitted to the curved strip (1). The pages are then held securely between the two sets of blades (5).
