Abstract

The box corners are made from square wooden pieces (c) extending over the entire depth of the box. The corners are held in position by means of metal caps (1, 2). The top cap is square and has two lugs fitting on the sides of the corners, and two lugs fitting over the sides of the box. A central tack holds the cap on the corner. The bottom cap has side tabs similar to the top inner tabs and has a double central tack to hold the corner in the base.
