Abstract

The machine applies a decorative material to the surface of a rigid panel (6), the material being pulled from a roll (1) by the final pressure roll (5a) of the calendar (5). It then passes over a guide roller (2) and a stretcher roller (4). Between these rollers is the gluing station (3), this being two other rollers (3a, 3b) positioned tangentially. The well at the top, between the rollers, if filled with paste, this being applied to the decorative material as it passes underneath. The gluing rollers rotate towards each other, at the same or different speeds.
