Abstract

The printer consists of a punched tape reader adjacent to an interface and connected to a circular printer. The printer has 96 branches fifteen of which carry the special printing characters required for cheques. The remainder of the rotary printer has sufficient capacity for the requirements of cheque coding numbers. The printing rate is of the order of 45 characters per second.
