Abstract

The device has a control element movable along a specified path and carrying out a position dependent function, and an operating element with a temperature sensitive element, acting on the control element. The temp. sensitive element (50) has a modulus of elasticity which varies with temp; a pretensioning element (52) opposes the sensitive element (50). The control element (31) is moved along the path when the temp. changes. Calibration devices (47, 48) select a part of the temp. range for the control element movement. A control unit (54) sets a temp. at which the control element is in the specified control position.
