Abstract

The device is used to seal in a dustproof manner, a housing with a slot in which a component is located and can move along it. On the edges of the slot (3) felt strips (8, 9) are arranged, the free ends of which are bent in such a way that with their sides facing the slot (3) they are flatly located against each other. The moving component (11) has a section (14) which extends through the slot (3) and between the felt strips (8, 9). The section (14) has the shape of a double-edged sword. The felt strips (8, 9) are impregnated with oil, and their free ends are held together by flexible tension.
