Abstract

The packing component accommodates one or more drink glasses, having two parallel flanges joined together by a transverse web. Recesses opposite each other are formed in the flanges, one for the bowl of the glass and the other for the base, and recesses in the web extend from each of those in the flanges. One at least of the flanges (42) has integral with it a holding tongue (32) folded at right angles, and by which it is secured to the web (18). For each mounting accommodating a glass there can be two such tongues on the flange, one each side of the mounting.
