Abstract

The system enables one to obtain a variation in luminosity during filming by development or projection of film combined with insertion of a complementary image. The complementary image is formed by an increase or lowering of intensity and the addition of an image other than that of the film at a rate of one every 24 or 25 seconds. A programmer acts mechanically or electronically on a modulator placed in a light path and via a screen suppresses the light intensity.
