Abstract

Cuve tournante. Elle comporte dans un de ses fonds une porte de sortie périphérique unique 40 vers laquelle les matières solides sont repoussées par une série de sehments hélicoïdaux 12a à 12e en saillie à son intérieur et dont l'ensemble forme en quelque sorte vis d'Archimède divisée, chaque segment étant décalé angulairement en avant dans le sens de rotation par rapport à celui qui le précède dans le sens d'avancement de la matière (vers la droite). Le dernier 12e s'incurve pour entourer en demi-cercle la partie de 40 qui se trouve vers le bas quand 40 est à sa position inférieure. Application au traitement de la vendange.
