Abstract

The stake comprises a tube of adjustable length having a sharpened point at its lower end. A bar serves as a stop or abutment for an arch of the tunnel. It also serves as a ground level stop and as an anchorage for cords or hooks for retaining the flexible covering. An L shaped bracket with its ends attached to the tube, serves to help retain the stake anchored in the ground. The bar may be engaged by a tractor lift linkage for lifting the stake out of teh ground.
