Abstract

After removing the loaves from their baking-tins they are collected in batches and transferred to a selective elevator which stacks them in a trolley running on a guide rail. Successive loaves are placed across the conveyor belt and come up agains the stop in groups of the desired number. The drop-door is operated by a photocell and closes behind them. A pushing device with its blade transfers the group to the conveying belt which brings it to the stop. Another photocell operates the pusher, wit its blade, and the group is moved into the chute which leads to the platform of the lift. This platform can be aligned with any shelf in the wagon and the pusher, wit its blade, sends the group onto the programmed shelf while the latter is kept in position by the rider operated by the motor. The device is entirely automatic, it is capable of operating rapidly in transporting the hot, fragile loaves in groups, without damage, to wagons for passage to various treatment posts.
