Abstract

Procédé de séparation de méthacroléine et/ou d'acide méthacrylique à partir de solutions aqueuses les contenant et nouveaux produits ainsi obtenus. Dans ce procédé, on introduit le mélange réactionnel gazeux provenant d'un réacteur, où la réaction en phase gazeuse de la méthacroléine et de l'oxygène a été effectuée, dans un condenseur où le mélange réactionnel est mis en contact direct avec une partie de la liqueur condensée préalablement obtenue à une température non supérieure à 100 degrés C, on introduit le gaz résultant dans le fond d'une tour d'absorption de méthacroléine, à une température non supérieure à 30 degrés C où méthacroléine dans le gaz est absorbée dans une solution aqueuse ne contenant pas moins de 5% en poids d'acide méthacrylique, et on envoie la solution aqueuse d'acide méthacrylique contenant la méthacroléine, obtenue à partir du fond de la tour, au sommet d'une tour d'enlèvement de méthacroléine, tout en introduisant la liqueur condensée dans la partie médiane ou le sommet de la tour d'enlèvement, où un gaz inerte, tel que de l'azote ou de l'air, est fourni au fond de la tour.
