Abstract

This screw consists of a shank (1) of great hardness, provided with a thread (2) intended to produce self-tapping of a hole receiving the screw, and of a blind nut (4), made from a metal which has been subjected to an anti-corrosion treatment or made from plastic and comprising an internal thread (5) making it possible to screw the nut (4) onto the shank (1). This screw makes it possible to separate the self-tapping and corrosion-resistance functions, which are required particularly in the case of fastening facia or cladding elements on purlins, beams, or similar supports.
