Abstract

The cover for in-line or rectangular connectors is for use esp. with telephone exchange panels, and printed circuit boards. The cover is demountable such that its side walls (17, 19) are not integral with the top (21) and end piece and allows a large degree of access during wiring and fitting generally. The side walls are in one piece and fit over the connector pin carrying base. After completion of wiring the single piece end and top section is positioned between the walls and bolted (22, 23) in position. The cable is finally secured by a separate clamp block (26).
