Abstract

L'invention vise un nouveau fluide caloporteur constitué d'au moins un alkylcyclohexane contenant de 6 à 14 atomes de carbone, de préférence de 8 à 12 atomes de carbone, dans son groupe alkyle. Le nouveau fluide est tout particulièrement constitué de décylcyclohexane et peut contenir éventuellement jusqu'à 50 % de son volume de dicyclohexane. Il peut être utilisé pour le refroidissement des moteurs et la récupération d'énergie solaire au moyen de capteurs plans.
